Folk Art From The Heart

Frostella the snow white kitty is all ready for the Christmas festivities. She's sporting her brightly colored hat and scarf while she's perched atop her brightly colored Christmas bell. She's even got her own Christmas wreath hanging from the tip of her tail.
Frostella was created using my own handmade paper clay. Once cured she was painted using acrylic paint. Chalks and oils were used to create shadows and highlights and finally she was antiqued to bring out all her details. She was then coated with a satin sealer to protect the paint and keep the colors vibrant for years to come. Frostella's Christmas lights were created using custom colored polymer clay.
Frostella was created by me, Kim Owens, in my smoke free studio in sunny California. She stands 12 inches tall by 6 inches deep and will come to you signed, dated and ready for display.
