Patriotic Americana Art Doll by Skunk Hollow

This Patriotic Art Doll is named Madison she is 10 inches tall and was handmade the primitive way (no sewing machine used) and is OOAK.

Her body and arms were made from navy fabric. Her legs and feet are a blue cotton fabric with darker blue stars. She has a pair of blue thread shoes on.

Madison's dress is a blue Americana material with the American flag and gold stars on it. Her pantaloons are various shades of blue with stars and stripes on them accented with a red embroidery tie.
Her hair is a shimmery reddish fiber custom cut for the exact style to fit her personality.

Madison holds a mixed media art star of paper and muslin with the words USA stitched on it.

Howlin' Cats and Candy Corn

For sale on my Etsy site for $18.00 are three... 3 1/2 inch handmade candy corn bowl fillers and three... 3 1/4 inch howling cats (6 total). Made from muslin material and hand painted. The cats were stiffened and grunged with cloves for the occassion.

Liberty

This is Liberty my newest Primitive handmade(without the use of a sewing machine) art doll. She is holding the actual sheet music to "God Bless America" and her own little flag.



Liberty is all dressed up in Americana materials and her hair was cut short around the face with pigtails on top tied up with red, white and blue embroidery thread. Primitive Americana Art Doll

This handmade, ooak, little doll is 11 inches tall. Her face and hands were made from coffee stained muslin. Her nose is needle sculpted and her face was hand drawn with artists pencils.
Her legs are of a striped Americana red and tan fabric. Her pantaloons are a beige cotton fabric with the American flag all over them. She wears a dress of Americana red with gold stars circled with black on it and her body is made from the Pledge of Allegiance fabric. She comes with her own hand drawn American Flag.
I named her Americana Hannah and she is up for sale on my Etsy Shop. This little doll was primitively hand made without the use of a sewing machine. Hannah will sit or hang up for you.

Tooth Fairy Ornie



This Tooth Fairy is ready to visit the next youngster getting ready to lose a baby tooth. She will use her trusty wand to magically transfer the tooth from under the youngster's pillow and deposit a coin in its place. The tooth will then be taken back to the Tooth Fairy factory where it will be turned into pixie dust. This special dust is what the Tooth Fairy uses to sprinkle on the heads of newborn babies so they can grow baby teeth when they get older too! It's not every fairy that is chosen to be a Tooth Fairy. It's a special job and this Tooth Fairy takes it very seriously.

The Tooth Fairy was created in my smoke free studio in sunny California. She measures 4 inches long by 3 inches wide and will come to you signed, dated and ready for display.

Ginger and Fred



Ginger, just slightly past her prime, still loves to trip the lights fantastic. Dressed in her finest dancing gown, she gathers her new partner, Fred, and heads out to dance the night away.

Ginger was created by me, using my own hand made paper clay. Fred was created with polymer clay, as was Ginger's shoes. Once baked, Ginger was hand painted using acrylic paint. Chalks and oils were used to create highlights and shadows. The whole piece was then antiqued to bring out all the details. Finally the piece was coated with a satin sealer to protect the paint and keep the colors vibrant for years to come.

Ginger was created in my smoke free studio in sunny California. She stands 5 inches tall and 4 inches wide and will come to you signed, dated and ready for display.

Meet Henry
This primitive ooak 9 inch rabbit art doll was made from coffee stained, painted and stiffened muslin. He has a needle sculpted mouth with two little teeth showing. His hands and feet are needle sculpted and he has painted eyes and embroidery thread stiffened whiskers. Henry is on sale in my Etsy shop for $29.99 postage paid within the US 48.

This primitively handmade art doll is only 5 inches tall with 2 1/2 inch long ears. He was made from coffee stained, painted and stiffened muslin. His eyes were hand drawn and his face was water colored. He also has embroidery thread whiskers and a little white tooth.

This ooak, primitive art doll is 13 inches tall. Her face and hands were made from coffee stained muslin and she has a needle sculpted nose and hands. Her face is hand drawn with artists pencils and sealed to protect it from dust and fading.
She wears vintage dark purple velvet from a dress once belonging to my mother.
Her body is made from tie dye fabric in shades of purples and blues. Her legs are a purple fabric and her hair is made of fibers that I cut into a bob style.
