Patriotic Americana Art Doll by Skunk Hollow

Her body and arms were made from navy fabric. Her legs and feet are a blue cotton fabric with darker blue stars. She has a pair of blue thread shoes on.
Madison's dress is a blue Americana material with the American flag and gold stars on it. Her pantaloons are various shades of blue with stars and stripes on them accented with a red embroidery tie.
Her hair is a shimmery reddish fiber custom cut for the exact style to fit her personality.
Madison holds a mixed media art star of paper and muslin with the words USA stitched on it.

Primitive Americana Art Doll

Her legs are of a striped Americana red and tan fabric. Her pantaloons are a beige cotton fabric with the American flag all over them. She wears a dress of Americana red with gold stars circled with black on it and her body is made from the Pledge of Allegiance fabric. She comes with her own hand drawn American Flag.
I named her Americana Hannah and she is up for sale on my Etsy Shop. This little doll was primitively hand made without the use of a sewing machine. Hannah will sit or hang up for you.

New Dolls from Skunk Hollow Country Store

This primitive ooak 9 inch rabbit art doll was made from coffee stained, painted and stiffened muslin. He has a needle sculpted mouth with two little teeth showing. His hands and feet are needle sculpted and he has painted eyes and embroidery thread stiffened whiskers. Henry is on sale in my Etsy shop for $29.99 postage paid within the US 48.

This ooak, primitive art doll is 13 inches tall. Her face and hands were made from coffee stained muslin and she has a needle sculpted nose and hands. Her face is hand drawn with artists pencils and sealed to protect it from dust and fading.
She wears vintage dark purple velvet from a dress once belonging to my mother.
Her body is made from tie dye fabric in shades of purples and blues. Her legs are a purple fabric and her hair is made of fibers that I cut into a bob style.

Primitive Valentine art doll

Her face, body and hands are made from needle sculpted coffee stained muslin. Her arms and legs are made from cotton material in maroon and tan that matches the dress she is wearing. Over the top of her dress is a little coffee stained muslin apron with a bow in the back. She holds a coffee stained tan and maroon cotton ticking heart pillow in her lap.
I used fibers for her hair in varigations of shades of light and dark auburn and highlights of pale blonde. She has a few dark strands in it too to give her depth.
Valentina's face was hand drawn and sealed to protect it from fading and dust.

Primitive Handmade art doll
This small primitive, ooak, art doll is 10 inches tall and named Tiffani. Her body and legs were made of red and white checked cotton fabric. Her hands and face were made from coffee stained muslin and she has needle sculpted hands and nose.
She has a hand drawn face that I sealed to protect it from dust and fading. She wears a red dress with a darker red swirl on it and matching ribbons around her pig tails in her hair. She wears a white vintage scalloped slip of cotton under her dress and I also made her black shoes to wear.
For her hair I chose a fiber yarn and then cut it into the style I wanted. She has pig tails tied up high on the top.

Primitive, OOAK, Witch and Bat Dolls
This OOAK, primitive, witch is just 10 inches tall (without the hat) and the bat is 1 1/2 inches and sits on a 6 1/2 inch stake stick. Esther Good was made of very stylish Halloween fabric! Her bendable legs are black and white stripes with hand painted black shoes. She has a black, white and green body and coffee stained muslin hands. Esther's dress was made of three different pieces of fabric, her hair is black and white fun yarn. Her hat was chosen to coordinate with the dress and has a peacock feather in the brim. Esther's OOAK face is air dry clay. She has a mole on her chin, a very pointy nose and green eyes that I hand painted with artists water colors to coordinate with the outfit.
Tobias, the vampire bat is 1 1/2 inches and sits on a 6 1/2 inch stake. He was made of muslin and has an embroidered mouth, teeth, eyebrows and eyes. He was then grunged to prim perfection.

Polly Annie
This Valentine Raggedy was made for the cover of a brand new Skunk Hollow Country Store pattern and is only available on a secret page on my website You had to see it on this blog to even get a chance at it. Polly Annie is a 16 inch Raggedy holding a bundle of Homespun miniature hearts on her lap. Polly's dress and loons are a dark Maroon "Honey and Me" material topped with a plaid homespun apron in Coordinating colors. Her shoes are painted black with buttons on the side. Her face is hand painted with acrylic paint and her eye brows, lashes and mouth are embroidered. Her hair is loop d loop yarn in Raggedy Red. She is made of lightly coffee stained material and has two darling sticky out ears. Handmade Primitive OOAK Christmas Cat

Sassy is a 10 inch primitive handmade cat holding a homespun handmade Christmas wreath. Sassy was made without the use of a sewing machine and is made of painted muslin. I (Lisa Johnson) used a Skunk Hollow Country Store Pattern and you can purchase her on my Etsy Shop if you like her!
